Antonio Bolanča was born in 1973 in Zagreb, Croatia. After graduating from high school – Aviation Educational Center Rudi Čajavec (today this is Aeronautical Technical School Rudolf Perešin), he became aeronautical engineer in 1998 and he got an Master’s Degree in year 2001 at Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. Antonio continues his education at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture and, finally, he became a university specialist in mechanical engineering and shipbuilding. In one of his first scientific papers he writes about the possibilities of the use of drones to monitor the gas pipelines. Antonio is a member of Croatian Gas Association and is certified trafic engineer. He is the lead auditor for quality management systems (ISO 9001), environmental management (ISO 14001), energy management (ISO 50001) and information security (ISO 27001). He is currently working as a independent engineer in HROTE (Croatian Energy Market Operator).
