Born in Dubrovnik in 1976. Father of three children. As from 2003 he is emloyed by the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. Since In charge of coastal state functions of Croatian Maritime Administration covering international, EU and national maritime safety, environment protection and security standards including ship-sourced environment pollution prevention and combatting, search and rescue at sea, safety of navigation,hydrography,pilotage, towage,port infrastructure safety and marine environment protection services,port waste management systems,maritime security protection standards in ports (ISPS),national SafeSeaNet,VTS Services,wreck removal,spatial planning at sea, handling of dangerous and polluting goods,LRIT,CleanSeaNet,Maritime Assistance Services,designation of places of refuge, coordination of maintenance of sea fairways and AtONs. Project manager for series of projects aimed at improving of safety of human lives at sea and protection of marine environment such as establishment of Vessel Traffic Service of Croatia for monitoring and management of maritime traffic inculding legal, technical and operational segments, or establishment of National Maritime Single Window as a B2A2B ICT paperless solution, development of Nautical Information Service as a smartphone app for Search and Rescue, Integrated maritime solutions, and other.
