About the conference

Second conference on unmanned aerial vehicles in the region

DRONEfest is the largest conference on unmanned aerial vehicles in the region. Each year, it gathers experts, amateurs, business and academic communities as well as state institutions in order to promote and build one of the industries of the future – the unmanned aerial vehicle industry and, most important, their use in business. The conference is the most important regional platform to connect those who develop solutions and define rules with potential users and buyers.

The main topics of the conference include industry trends as well as the possibility of commercial use of drones in different business areas (agriculture, photo & video, traffic, security and rescue services, building, and so on).

EU regulations
The key organizations of the European Union (EASA, Eurocontrol, etc.) develop – in cooperation with local experts – a new framework and rules which would harmonize regulations within the EU and so enabled a faster development of the unmanned aerial systems industry.
Drones in agriculture
Because of their abilities and acceptable prices, the unmanned aerial vehicles open up new scenarios of use that help make timely decisions in order to secure larger yields together with a better control of costs of fertilization and protection.
Aerial photography
Aerial photography is developing very quickly as new cameras and aircrafts have capabilities that present completely new challenges for photographers and videographers. Learn about the challenges but also about the opportunities for professional aerial photography companies and individuals.

Organizers

IN2 Group is a software company established in 1992 and headquartered in Zagreb. Today, it’s the backbone of the IN2 group, consisting of 12 companies in 6 countries of the region. Their main activities are the production of custom-made software and own application solutions for companies and institutions working in health care, public sector, finance, retail, and telecommunications.

EVENTA01 is a digital event agency owned by professionals with organizational, executive, and creative portfolio consisting of a large number of business gatherings (conferences, forums, seminars, consultations, fairs, road shows). Their experience was forged in the organizational processes of some of the largest business gatherings in Croatia. We gather a community aware that digital economy changes their business.

DRONEfest is an excellent opportunity to tell your story, share your experience, show your results or promote a product in front of a large audience interested in the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in business. If you think you have an interesting topic and experience that you want to share with the attendees, please register it. Send the registration form with the concept of the topic as a PPT presentation by e-mail until February 10, 2017. The presentation can have the maximum of 10 slides. The accepted lecturers will be notified by February 17, 2017 at the latest.
